Kay Redfield Jamison
A psychologist at Johns Hopkins school of medicine her most recent book was a Pulitzer
Prize Finalist, but she has written many classic books that are amazing. She is one clinical
psychologist that you MUST read if you are in the field of mental health. She suffered from
bipolar disorder herself, and by far stands out as my top 5 people to read.
Mary Ellen Copeland

David Burns
His book is a classic but outdated. Very outdated. The newer version is Feeling Great: The Revolutionary New Treatment for Depression and Anxiety. This book too is slightly better, but more
for those who believe in the power of positive thinking.
